llms.txt Checker

An llms.txt file only helps if AI tools can read it. This checker fetches /llms.txt from any site and tests it against the llmstxt.org format: an H1 with the site name, a blockquote summary, H2 sections with lists of Markdown links, and short notes that describe each link. It also checks that the file is served as text (not as a "page not found" page), estimates its size in tokens, looks for llms-full.txt, and tests the first links to catch broken ones.

How to use llms.txt Checker

1. Enter a website address, such as example.com.
2. Click Check llms.txt.
3. Fix the items marked Fix first, then the ones marked Improve.
4. Run the check again after uploading the corrected file.

Why does it say the file is a web page?
