JSON-LD Schema Validator

Structured data in JSON-LD helps search engines understand a page and can earn rich results such as review stars, product prices and breadcrumbs. A single stray comma breaks the whole block, and a missing property can make the page ineligible. This validator reads every JSON-LD block on a page (or code you paste), reports syntax errors with a hint, and checks each item against the required and recommended properties of Google's rich result types.

How to use JSON-LD Schema Validator

3. Fix errors first (red), then consider the recommended properties (amber).
4. Confirm with Google's Rich Results Test before publishing important changes.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as Google's Rich Results Test?

It checks the same basics (valid JSON and the main required properties) quickly and for any type. Google's test is the final word on rich result eligibility, and it also renders JavaScript-added markup, which this tool does not.

Why does it say my FAQ markup gives no rich result?

Since August 2023 Google only shows FAQ rich results for well-known government and health websites. The markup is still valid.

What about Microdata and RDFa?

This tool checks JSON-LD, the format Google recommends. If a page only has Microdata, the result says so.
