About us
SEOpeck is a free collection of small, focused web tools. It covers the jobs that come up again and again when you build, run or write for a website: checking whether a site is up, reading its DNS records, testing an SSL certificate, converting and compressing images, formatting JSON or SQL, encoding and decoding data, and cleaning up text.
Every tool does one thing. You open the page, use the tool straight away, and nothing needs to be installed. Below each tool there is a short guide that explains what it does, how to use it, when it is useful, and answers to common questions.

How we build the tools
- Free, with no account. Every tool is free and none of them asks you to sign up.
- Your data stays yours. Many tools, such as the image converters and compressor, run entirely in your browser, so your files are not uploaded. Tools that have to fetch something from the internet, such as DNS, SSL or HTTP header checks, send only the address you enter. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
- Plain explanations. Each tool page says what the result means, not just what the numbers are.
- Kept up to date. We fix bugs, improve tools and add new ones based on what people ask for.
- An open research crawler. For our robots.txt research we run a small crawler, SEOpeckBot, that obeys robots.txt and names itself in every request. What SEOpeckBot fetches and how to opt out.
Who runs SEOpeck
SEOpeck is built and run by Nadeem Akram, its founder and developer. Nadeem develops and maintains the tools, writes the guides on the blog, and reads every message that comes in through the contact page.
Find Nadeem on LinkedIn, GitHub, X, Medium, YouTube and Facebook. For news about new tools, follow SEOpeck on LinkedIn and Facebook.
If a tool gives you a result that looks wrong, please say so. Fixing it is a priority, because a tool you cannot trust is worse than no tool at all.
