Frequently asked questions

Is a manifest enough to install the app?: Browsers also need HTTPS. Chrome no longer requires a service worker for the install prompt, but one is needed for offline use. Test your site with the PWA Checker.
What is a maskable icon?: An icon with the important part inside the central 80%, so Android can crop it into a circle, squircle or other shape without cutting off the logo.
