Frequently asked questions

Why is the APNG file large?: APNG is lossless, so every pixel is kept. Use 320 px or smaller and a few seconds, or choose animated WebP for a much smaller file.
Will it play everywhere?: All modern browsers play APNG. Programs that do not support animation show the first frame as a normal PNG.
Are my files uploaded?: No. The video engine runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device. Only the engine itself (FFmpeg, about 31 MB) is downloaded, once.
