Frequently asked questions
How is it different from Base64?
Quoted-Printable keeps mostly-ASCII text readable and only escapes the odd character. Base64 changes everything but is better for binary data.
What is the = at the end of a line?
It is a soft line break, used to split long lines in the encoded message without changing the text.
