Frequently asked questions
Is there an ideal keyword density?
No. Search engines do not use a target percentage. Write naturally for readers and use the counts only to catch unnatural repetition.
How are words matched?
Text is split on spaces and line breaks and lowercased, so The and the count together. Punctuation stuck to a word, such as a trailing comma, makes it a separate entry.
