How to use Text Replacer
- Paste your text into the main box.
- Type the text to look for in Find and its replacement in Replace With.
- Click Replace Text and copy the result.
When it comes in handy
- Updating a product name or URL throughout a document.
- Swapping separators, for example turning semicolons into commas.
- Cleaning repeated formatting characters in pasted data.
Frequently asked questions
Is the search case sensitive?
Yes. Every occurrence that matches your Find text exactly, including capital letters, is replaced, so search for each spelling you want to change.
Are special characters treated as code?
No. Characters such as . * or ( in the Find box are matched literally, so you can search for punctuation without escaping it. Leave Replace With empty to delete the text.
