Voltage Converter
Convert electric potential between SI prefixes, from nanovolts in sensor signals to kilovolts on power lines, plus the older CGS units (abvolt and statvolt) that still appear in physics textbooks. This converts units of voltage; it does not change mains voltage for a device.
How to use Voltage Converter

- Can this tell me if my 110 V device works on 230 V?
- No, it converts units, not electricity. Check the device's label: many chargers accept 100 to 240 V, but others need a transformer.
- What is a statvolt?
- The CGS electrostatic unit of voltage, about 299.79 V.
