Frequently asked questions

How many square feet are in a marla?

The government standard is 272.25 square feet per marla (and 20 marla, or 5,445 ft², per kanal), which this converter uses. Some housing societies use 225 or 250 square feet per marla, so check which one a listing means.

What is the difference between an acre and a hectare?

A hectare is 10,000 m², about 2.471 acres. An acre is 43,560 ft², about 0.405 hectares.
