Frequently asked questions

Which button should I use?

"Convert to PDF" creates the file in one step, but its pages are images, so the text cannot be selected and the file is larger. "Print / Save as PDF" uses your browser's print engine: the file is smaller and the text is sharp and selectable. For long books, use Print / Save as PDF.

Is the original styling kept?

The structure, images and emphasis are kept, and the book is set in a clean, readable style instead of the publisher's fonts.

Why does my e-book not convert?

Books bought from stores such as Kindle, Kobo or Google Play are usually protected with DRM, which encrypts the text. This tool cannot read them. DRM-free books, including most free and self-published ones, convert fine.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
