- What is FB2?
- FictionBook 2 is an open XML e-book format. One .fb2 file holds the text, structure, metadata and images of a book.
- Are all images kept?
- JPEG, PNG and GIF images are. Other formats (such as SVG or WebP) are left out, because FB2 readers cannot show them.
- Why does my e-book not convert?
- Books bought from stores such as Kindle, Kobo or Google Play are usually protected with DRM, which encrypts the text. This tool cannot read them. DRM-free books, including most free and self-published ones, convert fine.
- Is my file uploaded?
- No. The conversion runs in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
