Fake Identity Generator
Generate realistic fake people for testing: name, address, phone, email, job, test card numbers and more, for 9 countries.
Everything here is made up for testing. Card numbers are the payment networks' public test numbers (they only work in test mode), US SSNs use the 9xx range that is never issued, UK NI numbers use the unissued QQ prefix, and emails use the reserved example.com domains.
Fake Identity Generator
Developers and testers need believable people to fill sign-up forms, seed databases and demo apps, without using anyone's real details. This generator creates complete fake identities for the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Spain, India and Pakistan: name, gender, date of birth, a local-style street address and postcode, phone number, email, username, password, company and job, plus payment test data. Everything is made up and safe: card numbers are the payment networks' published test numbers (they only work in Stripe, PayPal and other sandboxes), US SSNs use the 9xx range that is never issued, UK NI numbers use the reserved QQ prefix, IP addresses come from the documentation range and emails use the reserved example.com domains. Generate up to 50 at once and download them as CSV or JSON.

Frequently asked questions
- Can the credit card numbers be used to buy things?
- No. They are the public test numbers from payment providers' documentation, such as 4242 4242 4242 4242. They pass format checks in test mode but are declined by real payment systems.
- Are these real people?
- No. Names, streets and numbers are combined at random, and the phone numbers, SSNs and emails use ranges reserved for fiction and testing wherever a country has them.
- Can I use this to sign up for services?
- Use it for testing your own apps and forms. Using fake details to deceive a business or get around its rules can break its terms or the law.
- Is anything sent to a server?
- No. The identities are generated in your browser.
